The Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of Marine Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). “The MOU provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with NTNU and bring together two world-leading universities to shape the future of ocean exploration.”
For the second year in a row, College of the North Atlantic ranks first in Atlantic Canada for college applied research. “It’s testimony to how external stakeholders continue to recognize Newfoundland and Labrador’s public post-secondary college as a leader in building and supporting the future of this province and our economy.”
Memorial opened their new $350 million Core Science Facility in September 2021. Built to house both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, the building is a centrepiece of MUN’s increased efforts to recruit both domestically and internationally.
