A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was recently signed between the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University and the Department of Marine Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). “The MOU provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with NTNU and bring together two world-leading universities to shape the future of ocean exploration.”
For the second year in a row, College of the North Atlantic ranks first in Atlantic Canada for college applied research. “It’s testimony to how external stakeholders continue to recognize Newfoundland and Labrador’s public post-secondary college as a leader in building and supporting the future of this province and our economy.”
Memorial opened their new $350 million Core Science Facility in September 2021. Built to house both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, the building is a centrepiece of MUN’s increased efforts to recruit both domestically and internationally.
